Supported integrations
Couch brings media players, speakers, lights, TVs, receivers and cameras together. Add connections in the web UI, put devices into rooms, and choose which device each activity button controls.
Support is under active development. The list below describes what is implemented today and calls out features that still need hardware validation.
CoreELEC
Kodi playback & box management
A CoreELEC box is a Kodi connection with its operating system attached. Playback, navigation and now playing behave exactly as they do for Kodi, and an optional SSH enrolment adds the OS version, the state of the Kodi service, and restart, reboot and power off from the browser. That half needs a dedicated key and a host fingerprint you verified yourself; leave it out and the Kodi half still works.

Speakers, volume & playback
Couch reaches a Sonos player directly on your network through the official local control API. No Sonos account, no cloud gateway. Play, pause, stop, next and previous, plus volume and mute, work from the remote and from the browser. Playback follows the group coordinator and volume applies to the speaker you selected; Couch never creates or changes a group.
Philips Hue
Lights, rooms & scenes
Control lights and grouped rooms, adjust brightness, and recall scenes from your Hue bridge. Multiple bridges can be configured.

Toggle and dim lights, position blinds, and adjust thermostat targets and HVAC modes. Each server has its own connection, and controls follow the capabilities reported by Home Assistant.

Receiver controls
Adjust receiver volume, mute, power and inputs. Activity mappings can send audio controls to the receiver while navigation goes to another device.
Android / Google TV
Controls & app shortcuts · experimental
Pair using the TV’s on-screen code, then navigate and control playback. Add favorite app launch links as shortcuts. Apps that expose standard Cast media status can show artwork, playback details and a read-only timeline. Available metadata varies by app. The web UI still labels the client experimental: pairing and controls want reports from more televisions.

Experimental
Pair with an on-screen PIN for navigation, playback controls and an installed-app list. Real-device validation is still pending; now-playing artwork and a timeline are not included.
Using Apple TV →Samsung Tizen
Experimental
Pair 2016 and newer Samsung Smart TVs by allowing Couch on the TV’s screen, then use navigation, volume, colour and source keys, launch installed apps and wake the TV over the network. Written from protocol documentation; real-device validation is pending.
Bluetooth
The remote is the Bluetooth remote · experimental
The HA100 is a Bluetooth Low Energy keyboard and consumer-control remote called Couch Remote, so any television that accepts a Bluetooth keyboard can pair to it. Pairing belongs to the device: open the TV in Rooms & devices on the web, or its TV screen on the remote, choose Pair over Bluetooth, and a pairing card follows the television’s prompts. Each TV keeps its own pairing, next to the device’s network connection and infrared commands if it has them; a preferred control among those decides which a button tries first, with fallback when it is unavailable, such as waking over infrared while the TV’s network side sleeps. Navigation, OK, back, home, menu, volume, mute, channel, playback and the power toggle go straight to the television. Outside a pairing card the remote is hidden from other Bluetooth scanners, and its address is fixed so a pairing survives updates and reboots. It needs the Bluetooth kernel from the current boot image and Bluetooth switched on under Settings. One TV is connected at a time: the device on screen holds the link, and the link is one way, so the remote cannot show what the TV is doing, and the power toggle only reaches a TV that is already on. Validated with an LG webOS OLED. Experimental, and unstable while a device is connected: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth share one radio on the HA100, and a connected Bluetooth device can slow the remote’s Wi-Fi badly, so Home Assistant control, the web UI and update downloads may be slow or fail until Bluetooth is switched off again. As things stand it also has to be switched on by hand after every restart — Bluetooth does not start at boot yet, which is a known gap rather than a settled choice.
UniFi Protect
Cameras, read only
Enrol a local Protect console with an Integration API key, then add its cameras to a room and open one on the remote’s camera screen: a snapshot first, then the camera’s existing low quality stream. Couch only reads. It never enables a shared stream, changes a camera setting, or signs in with a username and password. Checked against local test peers and the packaged decoder; a live console and a camera running on the remote have not been measured yet.
Matter
Experimental
The remote administers its own small Matter fabric. A device another app already set up joins that fabric through the app’s pair with another app code, over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and keeps its original ecosystem. On and off work, brightness works where the device reports a level control cluster, and activities can send on, off and toggle. Validated against a simulated light only, so expect the pairing flow and the device list to change. Couch is not a Thread border router and cannot commission a device straight out of its box.

Per-device commands
Browse 5,477 remote models and attach commands to an existing network device or an IR-only device. Assigned functions use the built-in blaster; other functions retain network control. Command compatibility varies by device.
